Designed for dialogue-heavy videos, educational content and creator workflows that involve multiple recordings.

  1. 01

    Bring your script and sources

Import DOCX or TXT and assign each speaker’s video, audio or prepared Premiere sequence.

  2. 02

    Review the suggested edit

Listen to matched dialogue, adjust source ranges, try alternate takes and approve what belongs in the cut.

  3. 03

    Build, caption and refine

Assemble the reviewed sequence, correct captions and continue the final framing, sound and visual polish in Premiere.

Planned development

A clearer bridge between
scripts and editing.

We plan to explore Claude-assisted interpretation of script structure and visual instructions, with editors reviewing suggestions before any timeline change.

  • Better handling of complex script structure and editorial notes.
  • More useful explanations for suggested takes and visual cards.
  • Improved guidance when source material needs manual review.

Claude integration is planned and is not part of the current prototype. Future cloud features would require an explicit choice about sending content off the device.

About the project

An editor’s workflow,
built into an extension.

Luma Caption Studio is an independent, early-stage software project led by Arjit. The existing Windows prototype combines local speech models with Premiere’s editable timeline and graphics tools.

We are developing the product for editors and creators who spend too much time moving between scripts, transcripts and recorded takes. Public distribution and the commercial product are still being prepared.

Prototype capabilities are still under active testing. Speech recognition and suggested cuts need editor review. Adobe and Premiere Pro are trademarks of Adobe; this independent project is not affiliated with Adobe or Anthropic.
